A friendly and shared space centered around the world of urban cycling, which is part of an approach to preserve and revitalize Lyon's heritage. At the same time, it highlights the "codes" of cyclists and/or hikers: colors, materials, signage...

The project

The connection

Concrete, a "raw" and "simple" material, references the urban environment as well as the streets and roads on which we cycle or ride our bikes. This concrete bridges the gap between the urban outdoor space and the interior spaces of the venue.

The material

Metal is the primary material used to manufacture bicycles. It immerses us in an "industrial" and modern universe, while adding a lively and dynamic touch through its colorful lacquer. The colors associated with the world of cycling are numerous, and we focus primarily on the primary colors of red, yellow, and blue from the iconic "rainbow" jersey of the cycling championships.

The signage

The dynamic initiated by the signage we designed, especially on the ground, helps guide the user throughout their journey. Like an outdoor/indoor bike lane.
