Unanime was born from a shared ambition: to design and build together. In 1994, two Lyon-based architects, Jacques Delattre and Gilles Marchand, founded their agency. In 2001, their meeting with Didier Garcin and Cédric Morel marked the creation of Unanime — a structure shaped by collective rigor and the intelligence of dialogue.
As the agency grew, it expanded its horizons with new offices in Aix-les-Bains and in the Gulf region. Over the years, Unanime evolved and strengthened its organization: a construction division dedicated to engineering was established, alongside the development of an interior architecture unit, reflecting a strong commitment to user experience and spatial atmosphere.
In 2019, Unanime partnered with the Paris-based firm Hall-Idasiak, a specialist in healthcare and social care architecture, to create UNHI, a subsidiary entirely focused on health-sector projects.
At the same time, a new chapter began with the arrival of a generation of passionate, visionary architects. Taking up the mantle, they continue to drive the collective momentum while bringing fresh energy to the group — one that is open, engaged, and deeply attuned to the contemporary challenges of architecture.
