In the Monplaisir district of Lyon, once the stronghold of the Lumière brothers, stands this complex of 45 apartments spread across two buildings. Here, the guiding principle is simplicity, with clean volumes, white façades, and the use of glass to let in natural light.
In detail
A gap separates the two buildings, breaking the linearity of Rue Saint-Nestor. In addition to creating a visual sequence, this gap provides access to the entrance halls and common areas.
